ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED FOR 2019
- As part of our mission to help unsigned musicians and performers bring their music to a wider audience and to showcase and support new talent TTMF are delighted to be once again running the TTMF Songwriters’ Competition
- Songwriters will be invited via the TTMF website, social media and general marketing to submit original compositions as YouTube videos of a live performance of the song to the TTMF website. The song can be of any genre but must be able to be performed by not more than 3 people using acoustic instruments (piano/guitar) and should not last longer than 5 minutes.
- In June 2019 ten finalists will be selected and invited to perform their song in front of a live audience and panel of judges comprising music industry experts. There will be a short interview with the artist covering the inspiration for the song and then a performance. At the end of the performances, the judges will select a winner based upon: originality, creativity, lyrics, melody and overall likeability.
- The final will be held on Friday, 12th July 2019 in Christchurch, Thame.
- The winner will be given the opportunity to perform the song on the Festival Main Stage on Saturday 13th July and will also receive promotion and support from the TTMF and its affiliates.
