The Boodlum Band
Venue: Rumsey’s Jordans Garden Stage
Good-time band The Boodlums are delighted to put their meteoric rise to fame on hold to be part of the Thame Town Music Festival. Officially the UK’s Oldest Boy Band, they have parodied hits by some of the world’s greatest artists such as ABBA (“Can You Hear Our Drums in Nando’s”) and The Eagles (“Welcome to The Travelodge in Bournemouth”). It’s true to say this is definitely not a Tribute Band. Their music features the usual heavy-metal line-up of phono-fiddle, ukulele and washboard, and their music is not easy-listening.
