The Deadbeat Apostles

Venue: BBC Introducing Stage

The Deadbeat Apostles are a close-knit band of 4 brothers and a sister and their hard work and love for each other is what great bands are made of. Featuring the outstanding Vocalist Michael Ginger – a man who brings to the table a voice described as Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, Percy Sledge and Roger Daltrey and all rolled up in to one rampant and gutsy front man – a true original who gives his entire being to every performance – he’ll lay his heart and soul on the stage for you to lap up and take home.

Last year was one to remember for the Deadbeat Apostles. Their aggressive, politically charged single ‘Leave it to Men’ released in December 2021 was an outright attack on anyone who has tried to silence anyone, for any reason and saw radio plays and excellent reviews from far and wide. Reaching number 10 in Nightshift Magazines top tracks of the year the song shows that the Deadbeats really mean business. Recorded and produced by the amazing Rowland Prytherch at Strawhouse Studios then mastered by the master himself Tim Turan, it is yet again a different direction for The Deadbeat Apostles - they certainly don't hang around too long on one thing - keep on moving is their motto. But as always, the song is from the heart, from the soul, and from the pit of their guts.
